Privacy policy
The protection of your personal data and the right to informational self-determination are important to us. With this privacy policy we inform you about the processing of your personal data in the context of the use of the AMALOGIX platform under the URL amalogix.com (hereinafter referred to as : “Platform”) and as a mobile Application (hereinafter referred to as: “Mobile App”) (hereinafter jointly referred to as “Platform”).
Note: In order to make the reading of this privacy policy as easy as possible, the masculine gender will be used on some chapters. This must be understood as the neutral gender.

MAHLE is committed to strict compliance with the national and international laws and regulations to safeguard the right to informational self-determination.
We observe European regulations on data protection and privacy law and the national provisions that arise from them in processing personal data.
4. Collection and processing of your personal data
MAHLE processes your personal data within the scope of using the Platform. In the following, we explain the purpose, the processed data categories and the respective legal basis:
Purpose: Registration and creation of a user account
In order to use the Platform, you have to register and create an account. For this we need at least the following data:
Data categories: (mandatory): email address; password
During registration, you will receive an email to verify your identity (so-called double opt-in process). Please confirm your e-mail address.
Legal basis: Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR
These mandatory data elements added in the user account are hereinafter collectively referred to as “User Data”.
5. Disclosure of personal data to third parties
In the course of using the Platform, MAHLE will share your personal information with the Qlik Cloud (Qlik Data Integration, Data Quality, and Analytics Solutions) which is necessary for providing the service and performance of the contract (point (b) of Article 6 (1) GDPR).
Except in the cases indicated separately, we share your personal data with third parties only if
• you have consented pursuant to point (a) of Article 6 (1) GDPR,
• this is necessary for the performance of a contract with you pursuant to point (b) of Article 6 (1) GDPR, or
• in the event that there is a statutory obligation of disclosure pursuant to point (c) of Article 6 (1) GDPR, i.e. Public Administration with competence in our activity, the State Security Forces and Bodies, or other professionals stated in the legal field, if such communication is required by Law, or
• this takes place for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller pursuant to point (f) of Article 6 (1) GDPR. If personal data are transferred to a third country outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or to an international organization, this is stated separately.
6. Use of cookies
Cookies are small files that are placed on your desktop, notebook, or mobile device by a website that you visit. We can use cookies to determine things like whether there has been a connection between your device and our website in the past or what language or other settings you prefer. Cookies can also process personal data.
When you use the Platform, we use cookies (“strictly necessary cookies” and no “analytical cookies”).

“Strictly necessary cookies” are essential to the basic functions of the website. These cookies cannot be deactivated. If you have disabled cookies in your browser, you may find that some functions are not available to you and/or the website does not display correctly.

*For Qlik further cookies may be possible to hand over user-Name and Password from Amalogix.com via IDP to Qlik-Cloud to ensure embedded content can be loaded for users. We will give an update after further tests.
With the planned integration of Entra ID, additional technically necessary cookies may be introduced. These will be communicated transparently and in advance.
These cookies exist for administrators, but are never stored in users’ browsers.

7. Security
We take organizational and technical measures to ensure that those of your data that we process are protected against manipulation, loss, destruction, and access by unauthorized persons. We adjust the security measures we take to this end to reflect the state of the art on an ongoing basis.
8. Erasure of your personal data
The personal data provided will be kept for the time necessary to fulfil the purpose for which they are collected and to determine any possible liabilities that may arise from the purpose, in addition to the periods established in the archives and documentation regulations.
Your account can be deleted completely by a request via email to the AMALOGIX team (contact@amalogix.com).
If you do not use your account for 6 months, we will delete your account due to inactivity. We will inform you about this 30 days in advance. You can prevent automatic deletion by logging in to your account.
Storage takes place beyond that point in time only if this is necessary according to the laws, regulations, or other legal provisions of the European Union or a Member State of the European Union to which we are subject.
9. Rights of data subjects
Please note that as the data subject, you have the following rights in conjunction with the processing of your personal data:
• Right of access pursuant to Article 15 GDPR
• Right to rectification pursuant to Article 16 GDPR
• Right to erasure pursuant to Article 17 GDPR
• Right to restriction of processing pursuant to Article 18 GDPR
• Data portability pursuant to Article 20 GDPR
If you consider that the processing of your personal data violates legal provisions, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority with jurisdiction pursuant to Article 77 GDPR, with the Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg (LfDI BW), Königstraße 10a 70173 Stuttgart, Germany or with the regulatory authority of the EU Member State where you habitually reside.
